Singapore’s residual fuel oil stocks have averaged 2% lower so far in October than across September, Enterprise Singapore’s latest data shows.

Changes in monthly average Singapore stocks from September to October (so far):

• Residual fuel oil stocks down 460,000 bbls to 24.37 million bbls
• Middle distillate stocks up 140,000 bbls to 9.86 million bbls

Singapore’s fuel oil inventories have stayed above 24 million bbls, even though the port’s net fuel oil imports have dropped by 26% so far this month. Imports have declined by 18,000 bbls, while exports have risen sharply by 813,000 bbls.

In contrast, middle distillate stocks at the port have averaged 1% higher so far this month.

Changes in Singapore fuel oil trade from September to October (so far):

• Fuel oil imports down 18,000 bbls to 5.24 million bbls
• Fuel oil exports up 813,000 bbls to 2.91 million bbls
• Fuel oil net imports down 831,000 bbls to 2.33 million bbls

In Singapore, VLSFO lead times remain highly variable. Some suppliers can make deliveries within six days, while others advise placing orders up to two weeks in advance. Just a week ago, lead times ranged between 8–14 days.

HSFO supply has tightened slightly, with lead times stretching from 6–10 days last week to 7–12 days now. In contrast, LSMGO availability has improved, with shorter lead times of 3–8 days, compared to 6–10 days previously.
