UCOME freight to Singapore eases

Rotterdam

Rotterdam’s B30-VLSFO (HBE) and B30-LSMGO (HBE) prices have fallen by $15–17/mt over the week.

The drop reflects an $8/mt decline in Prima Markets’ POMEME CIF ARA barge price and $6–9/mt decreases in Rotterdam’s pure VLSFO and LSMGO prices.

An $8/mt rise in Dutch HBE rebates for marine B30 has added further downward pressure.

In the wider ARA region, B30-VLSFO (UCOME) and B30-LSMGO (UCOME) prices have also fallen by $9/mt and $7/mt, respectively, in line with an $8/mt drop in Prima’s UCOME FOB ARA barge price.

Singapore

Singapore’s B24-VLSFO price has slipped by $10/mt, while its B24-LSMGO has dropped by $13/mt on the week.

The decline has been driven by a $12–15/mt fall in pure VLSFO and LSMGO benchmarks, along with a $5/mt decrease in Prima’s UCOME FOB China barge assessment.

The freight rate for UCOME cargoes from China to Singapore has also eased by $1.25/mt from multi-month high seen in September.
