Dutch HBE rebates decline after weeks of gains

China-Singapore biofuel freight cost at multi-month high

Rotterdam

Prima Markets’ POMEME CIF ARA barge price has fallen by $17/mt in the past week, mirroring a similar drop in Prima Markets' UCOME FOB ARA barge values.

But B30-VLSFO and B30-LSMGO prices in Rotterdam and other ARA ports have mostly resisted the fall.

Instead, prices for these biofuel blends have tracked $1–2/mt rises in ENGINE’s VLSFO and LSMGO benchmarks.

Dutch HBE rebates for marine B30 and B100 have also paused their recent upward trend, easing by $2–7/mt over the week.

Singapore

Singapore’s B24-VLSFO and B24-LSMGO prices have held largely steady over the past week.

Prices have mostly reflected a $1/mt drop in VLSFO and a $4/mt rise in LSMGO in the port, while Prima’s UCOME FOB China barge assessment has remained unchanged.

Freight for UCOME cargoes from China to Singapore have also stayed flat at a multi-month high of $20.25/mt.
