B30-VLSFO drops with VLSFO in Rotterdam

HBE rebate climbs again

Steady UCOME levels in China

Rotterdam

A $21/mt VLSFO price drop and a $3/mt greater HBE rebate have dragged Rotterdam’s B30-VLSFO HBE price down by $11/mt in the past week.

A $24/mt gain in Prima Markets’ POMEME CIF ARA barge price has cushioned B30-VLSFO’s fall.

The story is similar for B30-VLSFO UCOME in the ARA, except that it does not qualify for HBEs and is not impacted by the HBE rebate increase.

B30-LSMGO prices have risen by $7-10/mt by contrast, propped up by a $10/mt gain in the underlying LSMGO price.

Singapore

Singapore’s B24-VLSFO UCOME has ticked up by just $1/mt amid a backdrop of a similar $1/mt VLSFO gain and a steady UCOME FOB China barge price.

The representative freight rate for these UCOME cargoes from China to Singapore has risen by $2.25/mt to a multi-month high of $20.25/mt.

B24-LSMGO UCOME has gone up by $6/mt in Singapore, pushed higher by an $8/mt LSMGO gain.

Singapore’s biofuel bunker sales fell by 2% from July to August, according to official port figures. Lower bio-HSFO demand dented the overall sales, while bio-VLSFO, bio-LSMGO and B100 sales grew.
