B30 prices in Rotterdam hold mostly steady

Dutch HBE rebates for B30 see slight uptick

Singapore's B24-LSMGO price edges up

Rotterdam

The port’s B30-VLSFO (HBE) price has dropped by $11/mt over the past week, primarily driven by a $13/mt decline in ENGINE-assessed pure VLSFO. The Prima-assessed POMEME CIF ARA barge price has remained relatively stable, with a modest $3/mt increase, slightly offsetting losses in the benchmark.

A $3/mt increase in Dutch HBE rebates has also contributed to the downward pressure on B30 (HBE) prices.

In contrast, the B30-LSMGO (HBE) price in Rotterdam has gained by $10/mt, supported by a $17/mt increase in pure LSMGO.

The ARA region’s B30-VLSFO (UCOME) has declined by $9/mt, while its B30-LSMGO (UCOME) has risen by $13/mt. Prima’s UCOME FOB ARA barge price has increased by $3/mt over the past week, adding slight upward pressure.

Bunker fuel supplier Burando Energies delivered multiple B100 stems of unspecified quantities to several Teekay Tankers vessels across the ARA region. “The B100 supplied consisted entirely of residues originating from fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) production,” the company’s head of decarbonisation strategies, Nick de Haan told ENGINE.

He added that lead times recommended for this fuel are around 4-5 days.

Singapore

The B24-VLSFO (UCOME) price has remained largely stable, inching down by just $2/mt. The slight drop was driven by a $5/mt decline in the port’s pure VLSFO benchmark and was partially offset by a $5/mt increase in Prima’s UCOME China FOB cargo price.

Singapore's B24-LSMGO (UCOME) price has risen by $12/mt, mainly supported by a $14/mt uptick in the port's pure LSMGO benchmark.

ENGINE’s freight estimate for UCOME shipments from China to Singapore has held steady, slipping by only $0.25/mt.
