Dutch bunker supplier Verde Marine has chartered the bunker barge Virage to expand its physical VLSFO supply operations in the ARA bunkering hub.

Verde Marine first entered the ARA’s physical bunker market with LSMGO deliveries in May last year.

It started VLSFO deliveries in Rotterdam from March this year using its chartered bunker barge Malia.

Introduction of Virage to its fleet since 1 July allows Verde to operate and expand to Antwerp and Flushing, the company's head of trading Joe Tierney told ENGINE.

The company also offers LSMGO deliveries via truck in the ARA hub.
