LSMGO is available for non-prompt deliveries in Durban with lead times of around 7-10 days, a trader says.

The bunker grade’s supply has improved amid replenishment of cargoes, according to the trader.  

The port has struggled with LSMGO shortages in recent months, when multiple suppliers were unable to offer the grade for prompt dates as well as for dates further out.

Durban's LSMGO price was around $1,306/mt at the end of March. The port's benchmark declined coming into April and priced around $1,193/mt in the second week of this month.  

Durban's LSMGO price witnessed a steep rise of around $200/mt on the month in February this year, triggered by severe supply crunch. Prices are currently reverting to January levels.
