The vessel, HMM Turquoise, is the last in the series of 12 container ships with LNG-ready structure for potential conversion to LNG propulsion, HMM said. The vessel will currently run on conventional marine fuels.
HMM Turquoise will start its maiden voyage on the Pacific South Express (PSX) route, connecting key ports in South Korea and Shanghai to Los Angeles.
