Singapore fuel oil imports at three-year high
Singapore imported more fuel oil in October than in any month since April 2021.
Changes in monthly average Singapore stocks from September to October:
- Residual fuel oil stocks up 133,000 bbls to 17.56 million bbls
- Middle distillate stocks down 803,000 bbls to 9.78 million bbls
Singapore’s residual fuel oil stocks have grown to two-month highs amid rising net imports, Enterprise Singapore data shows.
Net imports were at their highest since February.
Middle distillate stocks were drawn for a second consecutive month and dropped to four-month lows.
Changes in Singapore fuel oil trade from September to October:
- Fuel oil imports up 2.50 million bbls to 7.16 million bbls
- Fuel oil exports up 1.55 million bbls to 2.96 million bbls
- Net fuel oil imports up 953,000 bbls to 4.20 million bbls
